Everything is great, food, cleanliness, beds, rooms, staff, clean beach, calmness at the end of the hotels, the sea and especially the manager who solved our accommodation problem with generous compensation. Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

Set on tropical Isla Mujeres island, this boutique hotel offers swimming pools, massage service and direct access to the Caribbean Sea. Some suites have a private balcony with sea views. This property was in a beautiful location - so peaceful this side of Holbox and it was like we had a private beach. So relaxing! The hammock on our balcony and beach loungers were very comfortable.

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Absolutely beautiful place, a lush oasis which is so colourful and well-kept. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the breakfast was well worth the extra cost. The owners are also really lovely and helpful! We actually extended our stay by one night and would definitely stay here again

This hacienda-style hotel is located on Playa del Carmen's Fifth Avenue, one block from the beach. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in every guest room. Perfect, centrally located and yet quiet. The entire staff was really nice and helpful. Would love to come back
