A beautiful oasis close to the center. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and attentive. I would 100 % recommend this accommodation and stay here again.

From the moment we stepped through the door we were so warmly welcomed by Sara, Eric and their team and loved every minute of our stay. The welcome margarita was the best of our 3 week stay in Mexico (we tried many!) and our enormous room, which opened onto the pool terrace was simply perfect. Sara organised massages in our room on our first evening and her restaurant suggestions were perfect. We had already booked a guide (Raul Gil +52 999 157 9312) who, by coincidence, turned out to be the guide that The Diplomat used. He was fantastic and took us for a great day out to the Celustan, followed by visits to an old Hacienda and Uxmal (in our opinion a way better experience than Chichen Itza). The delicious breakfasts at the hotel were different each day and it was a treat to have afternoon tea!

Excellent location and delicious warm breakfast every morning. Beautiful surroundings with lush green gardens, nice pool to cool off. Aaron was a great resource for recommendations for dinner.

The spacious rooms include free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TV. The hotel is as beautiful as the pictures, maybe more so. Our best pictures from our time in Merida were of the interior of this hotel. Staff was really friendly and eager to help and to educate us. The area around the hotel is walkable, though right in front the sidewalk is very narrow. There are many restaurants and bars and shops near by.

Featuring an outdoor pool and set next to Francisco Cantón Park, Hotel Mesón del Marqués is set in a Colonial 17-century house. Surrounded by attractive gardens, it offers an à la carte restaurant and free parking. What an amazing hotel! It’s so beautiful, clean, staff is great, very good restaurant and breakfast. Too bad Valladolid is not so big so we could stay here longer.
