We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom apartment which had a fantastic modern kitchen with everything we needed to cook a nice meal. The high ceilings and gas fire made the living room a really lovely place to sit and have a wine and read when it was raining outside. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the apartment. There was also a lovely outdoor eating area which I think would be great in warmer weather.

Situated just 5 minutes from Christchurch International Airport, this hotel offers a free 24-hour airport shuttle service, plus an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, sauna and a fitness centre.

I have no expectations for only 1 night stay near the airport. but this hotel impressed me with his fantestic food and restaurant, hospitality and convenient location, well maintained facilities. Again this is a family operated hotel with 50 years history, you know their story by seeing the photos in the hotels. overall it is an excellent hotel, just like a home away from home, I will definitely come back! thank you.

Amazing property overlooking/right opposite the beach. Room was very clean and classy. Hosts were extremely lovely and friendly. Patrick gave a great suggestion for a restaurant and we were not disappointed. A lovely home made breakfast to finish off.

It was a delight to stay at Designer Cottage and the cottage could not be faulted in any way shape or form. The owner was very obliging and went out of his way to accommodate us which was greatly appreciated. It was a pleasure to communicate him and he was extremely timely in his responsiveness. We would have no reservations in booking to stay there on our return trips to Christchurch. It would in fact be our accommodation of choice compared to other places we have stayed when visiting Christchurch.
