The absolutely best motel during my trip in South Island. They have very large rooms and the facilities are well equipped and fantastic lake view.

We were welcomed by the owners on arrival who were so friendly and very welcoming. We had a beautiful en-suite room with doors out to a little patio area overlooking the beautiful garden and gorgeous views beyond - such a great setting! Tea and coffee was available in the shared kitchen/sitting room and there was fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was in the pavilion, self service cereals and toast and fab coffee! A very comfy bed too it was a great night’s stay!

Deze B&B ligt op slechts 100 meter van de oevers van het meer Te Anau en wordt omgeven door mooie tuinen. Elke kamer is voorzien van kabel-tv, elektrische dekens en koffie- en theefaciliteiten. We were the only guests for two nights as the area got battered by one-in-a-century storm that we were not aware of. When we arrived, the whole town didn't have electricity but that didn't dampen our spirits. The owners provided extra blankets and I had the best sleep in months. The owners gave us recommendation on what to do on a spare day that we were supposed to spend cruising Doubtful Sound (cancelled due to the storm) and helped us a lot fixing the car. We'll book again for our next stay.

Situated next to Lake Te Anau, Kingsgate Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. It offers excellent walking opportunities nearby and free onsite parking. Unlimited free WiFi is included.... Location was great opposite the lovely lake . Staff were most friendly and helpful. Parking was easy
