Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Een fijne accommodatie. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Bedden waren comfortabel. Mooie omgeving (rivier, meer, Tongariro park, etc). We verbleven er 10 dagen en vonden het jammer om weg te gaan.

Hush ligt op een rustige locatie en wordt omgeven door prachtige Nieuw-Zeelandse inheemse bomen en een verscheidenheid aan inheemse vogels. Het biedt moderne bungalows de meeste met een eigen balkon. Hugh was wonderful! He gave us all kinds of great recommendations on what to see and do. Loved chatting with him. The suite was soo nice - cute, very private, really spotless. Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

Cathedral Cove Apartment beschikt over uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een patio, op 15 minuten lopen van Cathedral Cove. Well equipped and very spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. There are large glass doors opening out on a patio with a table and chairs, where it was very nice and peaceful to sit. To walk to the nearby small shopping centre and supermarket only takes a couple of minutes, and you can also walk to the beach. We had a lovely dinner at The Pour House which we can recommend. Our very friendly hostess offered to drive us to the start of the Cathedral Cove walk as the parking lot was closed, which was much appreciated, as it is quite a steep walk! We only stayed one night, but can really recommend this for a longer stay, as it is so well appointed and more than enough space.

Ohuka Place Homestay is gelegen in Whitianga in de regio Waikato, op 47 km van Driving Creek Railway and Potteries en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Harvey and Sue were such kind, incredible hosts. Their home was so cozy and they made us feel so welcomed. The house was clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Highly recommend staying with them!

Other guests there were friendly and nice to spend time with in the communal area which had games and books to use. Very clean and comfortable space to relax in. Het Tairua Shores Motel ligt aan de haven, dicht bij de Tairua Wharf. Most comfy bed we’ve slept in during our 6 week vacation in NZ! Beautiful large room with private patio to use .

Argent Motor Lodge ligt op 250 m van het Waikato Ziekenhuis en het Braemar Ziekenhuis. Het biedt zelfstandige 4,5-sterrenaccommodatie met satelliet-tv en een iPod-dock. Immaculately clean. Very helpful host. Highly recommend.

The Reef Resort Motel biedt zelfstandige accommodatie aan de rand van het Taupomeer. Het beschikt over een verwarmd buitenzwembad met zoet water en een thermaal bad met een hot tub. The whole experience was very good -start with the warm welcome, upgrade to quiet and bigger room, the facilities….highly recommended

Coromandel Seaview Motel ligt tussen de bergen en de zee van het schiereiland Coromandel. Het ligt dicht bij gerenommeerde zoutwatervisserij en een aantal buitenactiviteiten. Location, location, location. With a sea view to both sides of the terrace it cant get better than this. May be only that this motel is so extreamly clean that you wont find any dirt anywhere. We felt like home and very welcomed.
