The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. Wonderful place, super friendly staff that makes sure you are being taken care of, and the view from our room was just breathtaking. They take outstanding care of the property, too, growing variety of flowers, and everything is spotless clean. Their Quinoa restaurant serves the best meals we ve tasted during our three week trip. Comfortable rooms with cosy rustic style-decor and mountain views are offered in Cabanaconde. An American breakfast is included and there is an on-site restaurant with a la carte dishes. The whole staff was extremely attentive and friendly – we felt very welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Featuring a new indoor pool, a garden and an on-site bar, Tradicion Colca offers rural accommodation in Yanque, 7 km from Chivay. The staff was very helpful, and breakfast was very satisfying. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The observatory was a great plus. We could easily walk to the town of Yanque.
