I recently had my wedding ceremony at this hotel and it is THE BEST. Such a wonderful, gorgeous location on the Douro river. Nice outdoor bar/restaurant and pool lounge area. Easy to grab a boat ride or arrange visits to quintas in the area. Staff work around the clock to make the place comfortable and accomodating. The food is great. Can't recommend it enough!

Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The gardens were beautiful for strolling. The common space outside and in the breakfast room was brilliantly conducive for meeting other guests and swapping ideas. Maria was absolutely lovely and helpful and arranged a few unforgettable experiences. We hope to return one day!
