Situated in Aljezur within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, this hotel offers self-catering villas with private terraces, hammocks, and views of the sea and countryside. This was our second stay at Herdade Monte Do Sol, and it was as amazing as the first! Warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere made us fall in love with this place and its residents (birds, cats, dogs, peacocks, horses etc :). The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, it offers the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Villa is spacious, and beautifully designed. Terrace for morning coffee with sunrise view, and terrace with beautiful sunset ocean view was a favorite spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. Breakfast —fresh, local, and delicious, some croissants, pastry, buns, cheese and meet platter, jam, and coffee capsules. Breakfast is delivered a preacreed time. Herdade Monte Do Sol is located in the rural area, you would definitely need a car to go exploring the beaches, hiking trails, or charming local villages. We will definitely be back again—this place is a gem!

This a fantastic small family run hotel. We liked the warm welcome and the friendliness of the owner Dona Idalia and her staff. Everything was clean and tidy and we felt right at home. Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel.
