Built in 1882 by Gustave Eiffel, this historic luxury hotel enjoys an exceptional location in the Unirii Square in Iasi, within a 10-minute walk from the National Theatre, Metropolitan Church and main landmarks of the city. The hotel is located right in the city center, very convenient for the sightseeing. The staff is very friendly and professional, they let us park the car longer after the check out. The rooms were clean and breakfast divers and tasty.

Pension La Roata offers comfortable, non-smoking rooms. We stayed at house Zenovia and everything was great. There are a lot of old decorations which reminded me of my grandmother's house. Quite a lot of attention to detail when choosing the decorations. It felt like living in a museum :). Also the lady at the reception was very nice. Outside there are quite a lot of things to do and explore also. Probably it's best to visit when it's warm outside and you can visit the fire pit also.

The units at the Residenz come with a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and air conditioning. They also feature a minibar. Room was spacious and clean. Balcony was a bonus. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the train station.

It was a good hotel for the money I paid. The hotel was clean and the room was very spacious. The hotel was also located within walking distance from the downtown area. Only a 20 min walk.
