The apartments are super clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony with mountain views is incredible. After hiking days, we would drink tea there in the evenings and watch the sunsets. The location of the apartments is also excellent: for those without a car, or wanting to take a break from driving - there's a bus stop just 50 meters away. You can walk to the town center with grocery store, restaurants, bakeries, and a bank. Bohinjska Bistrica is a small, quiet, and very charming town. There's no tourist hustle and bustle here at all. From this town, it's convenient to visit Vogel, Bohinj, Bled, and other attractions. We traveled extensively through the mountains, and this was an ideal place to stay. If we were to visit here again, we would undoubtedly stay at Apartments Mencinger!

The luxurious 4-star Superior Bohinj Eco Hotel is an oasis of peace and comfort set in Bohinjska Bistrica, at the edge of Triglav National Park, 6.5 km from Bohinj Lake and 20 km from Bled Lake. We really enjoyed our stay at Bohinj Eco Hotel. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Our room was very clean and well maintained. The pool area provided a lot of fun for our family. Location was great as it was just a short drive to Lake Bohinj. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious food.
