It was the most recommended hotel when we were looking to book for a short holiday and it is very clear why. The hotel is in the middle of all the good and tourist friendly places, hence walking around was always a good option. The rooms are exceptionally clean and have a cozy, inviting feeling to them. Interestingly, the hotel was busy even after "holiday season", after the schools have begun, hinting at the popularity of Monterey and the hotel itself. Some highlights: complimentary wine in the evening. A "menu" of pillows (around 8) to choose from for your personal preference and comfort, in the room.

Select rooms are pet friendly. We stayed in the penthouse. The unit is well built, comfortable, roomy, good lighting, parking, and conveniently located near Ocean Avenue. Not all units have parking on site.
