Surrounded by the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Thaba Eco Hotel and Spa features elegant suites. It offers a swimming pool, a spa, and function and conference facilities. The Staff were incredible. The views were amazing. The restaurant and food was just perfect! We would definitely recommend doing the Eco drive, we saw Zebra, Wildebeest, springboks, Impala and more. Our Eco Drive guide was brilliant! 10/10

Situated in the suburb of Melville in Johannesburg, Lucky Bean Guesthouse features a lush garden and an outdoor pool. The guest house is 1 km from the Country Club. Natasha and Conway were excellent hosts and very informative regarding restaurants and day trips. The guesthouse is located on a tree lined street in a nice safe neighborhood. The gardens and pool are beautiful

The Parkwood is nestled in a lush and well-manicured garden estate in Parkwood, Johannesburg. It offers luxurious accommodation with a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in all areas. Beautifully appointed and welcoming lobby. The room was equally lovely. Enjoyed immensely the private patio and outdoor shower. Unanticipated luxury at reasonable rates. Exceptionally comfortable bed and plush sheets and towels. Staff went above and beyond to please and assist.

Located in Houghton, The Residence is a boutique hotel that offers spacious suites with a spa bath, and a balcony overlooking the garden, the fire pit or the outdoor pool. We loved the design of this hotel. It was like Ethan Allen had had a hand in decorating the public spaces - it was so perfectly boho British Colonial. We loved the cozy bar and the lush plantings on the grounds of the hotel. Also loved the breezeway with the coy pond on the way to the bar and restaurant. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was laid back while still being professional. We have stayed in many places in South Africa that were super-duper deluxe. We liked that The Residence felt more homey and comfortable without being over the top.

Situated in the central business district of Sandton, The Maslow Hotel, Sandton is 10 minutes’ walk from Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City Mall. Loved pretty much everything. The facilities are great and well maintained. Loved the spa. Food at the restaurant is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is safe and central.
