Nestled in upper Morningside, Goble Palms Guest Lodge & Urban Retreat features an outdoor pool, an English-style pub, and a colonial rooftop terrace overlooking Durban and the Indian Ocean. Lionel is a delightful host - friendly and conducive and was very helpful to all of us, including our teenage boy who was travelling with. The rooms are such a joy, the food is delicious and plentiful with a lovely view and the pool area is perfect for relaxing.

Located right on Durbans North Beach, Belaire Suites Hotel offers rooms with free WiFi. Durban Station is 1 km away, and the on-site Café Jiran serves award winning coffee. The staff were amazing to cater to all our needs. The maintenance old guy is sweet and made sure our stay was comfortable. Our AC was having some issue and he came to fix it during the night. Great Staff, very accommodating and dedicated.

Situated 1 km from both the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the beach, this guesthouse offers leisure activities in tranquil surroundings. Everything....the best breakfasts we had in our 5-week stay in SA. The garden is beautifully landscaped, and the entire guesthouse is tastefully decorated with interesting and unique items. Colin and Natalie are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and gave valuable advice during our stay. They have thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. For example, the room had plenty of space to store luggage out of the way. The bathroom had plenty of space to put your toiletries. The list goes on and on. Just a stone’s throw from Hillcrest’s centre, a burgeoning commercial and residential suburb of Durban, this lodge welcomes guests looking for a special getaway. Booked for my dad as he was attending a funeral nearby. He was very happy with this place. Felt like home. Staff are amazing and really accommodating. He was due to check out at 7am. Staff offered to come in early so they would accommodate his request of early check out. Would definitely book this lodge in the near future.
