Great location, super friendly staff, nice pool, clean rooms, quiet at night, felt very safe, the owner was very accomodating when we arrived early from an overnight bus, breakfast is simple but fresh fruit is great and it includes coffee, great value for money

Patz Houz was one of the best hostels I've stayed at! perfect for a long term stay or for working from home. Location was perfect, in Barra da Lagoa. You can walk to the beach everyday. I loved that there was free breakfast, a rooftop, a coworking room. It felt like staying in a big house rather than a hostel, which I really liked for a longer stay. In addition, the dorm rooms were actually quite comfortable and I feel as though I could stay there for a long term stay even in a shared dorm. Beds were comfortable, there were curtains for privacy, and the other guests were not loud or disruptive at night, as it is not exactly a party hostel - so I got a good night's sleep each night. Also, everything was quite clean including the bathrooms. The hostel staff (Karina and Allan) were awesome and so fun to hang out with! I will definitely come back to stay.

Very nice host, beautiful and quiet apartment in the center of Barra da Lagoa. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend again 10/10!
