Beautiful, centrally located old house with a lot of charm, style, and history. Evelyne is an exceptional, friendly, attentive, respectful host. I stayed only for one night but was impressed. Everything was perfect. Clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped, easy access and flexible check-in /out time when feasible. Location was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter who stays at nearby student residence , but it was also very convenient for Bern center: the station is 5 minutes away by foot and you get to Bern main station, which is in the very center of the city, within minutes (trains are very frequent). Transport around Bern is cost free for guests during the complete stay , using the Bern app and a code for every guest which you get from the appartment owner.
