Clean facilities, great people, excellent atmosphere. People do speak English here. It's everything you'd expect from an international youth hostel. They also help you to arrange day trips. I went to Shilling and to Jiuxiang Caves, both excellent locations.

Very helpful kind staff despite language barrier. Complementary breakfast, drinking water and dinner for the guests. Variety of options with local food varieties. House keeping everyday. The food market nearby. The location was so central. We could reached important places we wanted to visit very cheaply and easily. Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. Good location. The train station is just beside the hotel. 2 stops away from Wuyi Station. Shopping is just nearby. Clean and well- maintained. Staff are very helpful and speaks good English.
