The island of Gulangyu is a fantastic place to stay, and this hotel was well located on the island. The hotel had a fantastic boutqiue feel, with very accommodating and friendly staff, clean and well designed rooms, good AC, local cuisine for breakfast, and a lovely boutique art shop in the hotel as well. We travelled with friends and family (including a small child) and everyone enjoyed their stay. Additionally, there is plenty close to the hotel including restaurants, convenience stores and other shops.

My trip to Xiamen was one of the best trips I have had in a long time, thanks in large part to my stay at the 12 Seaside Hotel. It was my first trip to China and everything was great. The hotel service was excellent, and it was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of breakfast options, and we could enjoy a sea view while dining, which made the experience even more enjoyable. On the last day, I got food poisoning and needed to go to the pharmacy for medicine. The gentleman at the front desk, worried that we might have trouble as we were unfamiliar with the area, kindly offered to take us to a nearby pharmacy. His service attitude was exceptional—I’m really grateful to him.
