Hotels in Erqi Square, Zhengzhou

The location was great, within walking distance to the shopping mall and to Erqi Square. Plenty of restaurants nearby, including inside the mall. Breakfast was wonderful, with ample variety and high quality. Staff was very helpful.

The buffet breakfast from the 28th floor had great variety and was very tasty and fresh. The 28th floor is rotating and the views from there are so good. The rooms are spacious and clean, bigger than 90% of what you would find in China. The staff at Yuehai hotel were all friendly and helpful, we would often chat with them and since we stayed there for 17 nights, by the end of our stay we all knew each other haha. The cleaner on the 20th floor was especially lovely and would often chat with my grandma while cleaning her room, so that was greatly appreciated and very nice of her. The location of the hotel is also good, with heaps of shops and restaurants right next to it.

During our recent 10-day business trip to Zhengzhou, we had the immense pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Zhengzhou International, and it truly exceeded every expectation. A special mention must go to the exceptional managers, Antoine and Miaomiao, whose enthusiasm, kindness, and attention to detail were unparalleled. Along with their attentive team, they guided us to vibrant night markets, charming local districts, and even a fascinating antique street that was a treasure trove of history and artistry. The staff’s assistance with translations proved invaluable, enhancing both our work and personal experiences (the manager ever helped with purchasing Chinese medicine for my cough). They also connected us with local tour guides to take us on excursions. These guides offered an insider’s perspective on the region, introducing us to the vibrant local culture, culinary delights, and even unique shopping experiences that showcased the everyday way of life in Henan Province. The hotel itself was a haven of comfort and luxury, with every amenity thoughtfully designed for an exceptional experience. The swimming pool provided a serene escape after work meetings, and the dining hall was a daily highlight. Each meal was a masterpiece, with chefs crafting unique dishes that delighted our taste buds every day. Winston and the rest of the staff were outstanding—always approachable, efficient, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Our spacious room was immaculate and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a second home. The hotel’s location was incredibly convenient, offering easy access to key attractions, a local park, and necessary amenities. This was, without a doubt, one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
