The hotel is very clean, everywhere smells nice. The rooms are quite large. Our room had no window, inspite of windows opened onto corridor the room was airy. Because the hotel's walls are not standart concrete walls, as if the whole hotel is breathing. The staff is helpful, some of them speaks english(a little). The breakfast is perfect and perfect, very fresh and satisfying. Location is very safe, the nearest metro station is 1,2-1,5 km away from hotel.

The hotel when I stayed was just 8 months old, so everything is still new and in great condition. Staff are friendly nd try to help you whenever you have questions or requests.
The place is surprisingly quiet at night and the ircon, WiFi and the TV are great.
Sal y pimienta is a local restaurant nearby staff recommend, loved it. Highly recommend going there when in Akela Park Hotel.

William is American and his wife Nora is Colombian. They were both very friendly and made us feel at home. The location is perfect and very safe and only a 10 minute walk to some great restaurants in Laureles. William recommended one which we went to. Generally used an Uber to get around which was perfect.

The property is in an amazing location in Laureles with everything you need within walking distance including cafes, restaurants, supermarket & farmatodo. Also super easy to get ride shares or public transport close by. Great size rooms very well appointed - loved having a washing machine in the apartment. We were welcomed warmly by reception. The young Colombian man who was learning English ( I’m sorry I can’t remember your name) was very helpful and went above and beyond with service and was always smiling and cheerful.
A pleasant surprise was our room was available early and we were offered coffee when we arrived.
The hotel has a fabulous buffet breakfast with the friendliest staff and the outdoor patio setting was like being in Europe.
Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and a sitting area. The shower had plenty of hot water.
We liked that the room had a safety box.
The area was safe a night , we walked to local food places.
You need to Uber to get to the main sightseeing.
