Great value for money and the location was acceptable for my needs. It's a 2km walk north to the centre and the train station. Cheap supermarkets about 700m away. The washing machine has a fast spin 1400, that can be useful. Wonderful evening sun in the (messy) backyard and through the living room. Morning sun in the bedroom (but 100% shutter blind). Very big fridge (limited freezer space).

I absolutely loved the bar, and how beautiful the building feels and looks. It just made me feel extremely comfortable, like a hotel feeling instead of a hostel feeling. Also, the staff are extremely helpful and answer your questions very quickly, so I appreciated this so much! It just comes across as that they are very organised and are familiar with the ins and outs of the hostel operations. This hostel definitely gave the impression of being very well-organised. Also bonus, the hostel is in the city center!!

It is a very nice and peaceful place to stay, with a very friendly and helpful owner/host. The accommodation is very private and comfortable, and they bring your breakfast in the morning (although there are some basics already there for you plus a fridge). Powerful shower! It is a good location for driving or cycling into Lille and some nearby restaurants. Lots of lovely animals to watch in the grounds.

Beautiful location and the owners were amazing. Although we had a language barrier we did our best to communicate. Great breakfast with the family in the farmhouse and the area is very picturesque. Nice and quiet area but only a short drive to Lille. The owner actually took us into Lille on our final day and we were very grateful.

One night stay over as we passed through on a motorcycle trip and what a great comfort this delightfully peaceful place is, at the end of a long day.
