The location is excellent, right within the palace walls near the Golden Gate, so all the main attractions were less than 5 mins walk. We could easily head back to room for a break anytime. The room is clean and beautiful, looked really new and well maintained, and we had a very comfortable stay. We love the scent they used in the common areas too! The best part of this accommodation has to be the hosts. Owner and his wife provided much help to us and gave clear information. Before arrival, he contacted us to let us know where he would meet us to help with our luggage as the palace area was pedestrian only. If you are driving he would also help you with finding parking. He met us at the roadside and helped with our super heavy luggage all the way to the room. He also gave recommendations of the food and places nearby. On the day of check out, he even went out of his way to help us get all the way onto the ferry as we had a lot of luggage and traveling with a young child. Definitely recommend this wonderful accommodation to anyone visiting Split.

Tony contacted us and met us at the parking and brought our bags from parking to the location and the carried them up the three flights of stairs. The room was very nicely appointed with fridge and good shower. Location is excellent right across from silver gate of Diocletian’s palace.

The staff is extraordinary nice, gives lots of information about the sights and city, very caring and helpful. Free transport service to bus/train station was provided. Location is amazing, directly at one of the main sights.

Very nice Hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. One of us has some food allergies and we informed the staff before our arrival about it so that they could prepare some breakfast for him. They prepared everything the way we asked. 10 out of 10 service!

cozy lovely room with brick that is over 1700 years old. Amazing experience, wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. if you want a different experience, like staying in an old town where there was an emperor Palace, do this!
