This place is gorgeous. Beautiful room, clean, grounds and pool are lovely. Breakfast was all you could need. Would 100% stay here again. We even arrived late after check in and someone was happy to help us get in still!

The sound and views of the rushing river below, outside dining, the excellent quality of the meals, the extremely friendly and helpful staff that treated us like family. The tours that were organised were excellent. Ask about the walking tour of the farms and villages. Our three night stay was restful.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden - through huge windows of your spacious room you can admire how well maintained it is. The area has a nice swimming pool with cooling water and sunbeds. Rooms are specious and super clean. Aris and his wife Lisa run this place with a lot of love, what you can especially feel in the delicious food they serve and the conversations you exchange :) thanks to their hospitality and help with organizing our trip to Meru Beitiri and Sukamade Beach we came back home with unforgettable memories. Do ask Aris about Sukamade and do not leave Kalibaru without going there.

The owner is such a nice person. He will literally show you around everywhere. He took us to the harbor, school, market, mangroves, dragon fruit field, and more. The bathroom is really clean, and the homestay has an outdoor kitchen *-* it's probably the best stay around this area!

The hotel is cozy, new and clean!! me and my friend stay here after the hiking in Ijen, have a very good rest here. The staff are very friendly and especially Cynthia, she helps us a lot for early check in and the transportation from here to Surabaya, highly recommend!

The room was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and felt luxurious. We didn't have hot water in the shower at first, but we asked reception and they came straight away to get it working so we could have a lovely hot shower and wash our hair etc. (I mention this as others have complained about the shower - it's easily fixed if the water is not warm enough so just go and ask). The location was so peaceful and lovely. The restaurant and pool areas were well kept and enjoyable to spend time in. The staff were really friendly and helped us out with transfers to and from the station - very reliable. We booked Ijen with them and they gave us a good price, it worked out at 325k each for entry tickets, private transfer there and back at times of our choosing, gas mask and torch. Food was nice, they helped make things vegetarian for us.
