We loved everything about this hotel, the location is just perfect - quiet and cozy neighborhood, historic building, lots of pizzerias and restaurants nearby. The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori are just a 5 minute walk away. Directly in front of the hotel is Antico Forno Roscioli, one of the most popular ones in Rome. The staff could not have been more professional, nice and helpful, we really appreciated it. Definitely would return to Smeraldo.

The room was very bright, quirky and spacious and the view from our balcony was great. The staff were fantastic, very helpful, nothing was a problem especially when I forgot my photo ID for the Colosseum and Marta was able to email a copy of my passport so I didn't have to return to the hotel to get it... brilliant! Faruk was amazing, nothing was ever a problem, brought our luggage to our room, served us lovely welcome drinks at the bar, brought our "amazing" breakfast to our room each morning and gave us helpful information for our trip and always with a smile 😊 we would 100% stay here again.

Really loved the location as it is in the centre of Rome and you can walk everywhere. The staff were so wonderful and attentive making sure our stay was fabulous.

location .. walking distance to everywhere come out of the building turns left cross the road at lights and 5 minutes walk to Vittoriano monument . Spanish steps , palatine hill , Roman forum and further down the road the Coleseum . spotless clean . secure . safe . staff all so lovely and friendly and helpful . stayed in room 103.

Beautifully designed rooms, comfortable beds and a great location central to the historical centre and a short walk across the river to Trastevere. My son had a birthday during our stay and the hotel made him feel very special.
