Great hostel staff and social common areas. Hostel feels new and very clean. Welcome drink was fun with a great selection of sake, as well as a fun takoyaki workshop hosted by the hostel. Location is very close to kyoto central, but far from most attractions.

I like the location. Only 4 minutes walk to the Kyoto Station. Easily accessible. Mostly flat terrain. I love how they include kitchen with utensils and washer with dryer in my room. Very convenient for a muslim family like ours to cook our own halal meals. I love how the location is close to everywhere, close to AEON and Kyoto Station that could connect to everywhere.

The space of the room was the biggest of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan. We loved the proximity to the train station, since we used Kyoto as a base so we could travel fast from it to the surrounding cities. The staff was nice, and it was always clean. Best decision we made in our trip.
