Everything! We had a lovely warm welcome from Tomo who made us tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our traditional meals with the lovely outlook over the ponds with the pitter patter of rain. The outside onsen was amazing,

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The design of everything is beautiful and traditional. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. They provided the token we needed to onsen-hop around Kurokawa and held our bags until check-in time. Dinner was a multi-course affair and everything was expertly made and displayed beautifully. The service was phenomenal. There are several onsen options at the hotel, all are great. Everything was clean and well-stocked. They also arranged for a car to drive us to the bus station when we checked out which was very convenient.

Beautiful Ryokan in a great location. The onsen is lovely and the food is absolutely amazing. The little details provided by the staff really made the experience feel special and personalised (from the welcoming message, gift for the kids, help with the bags and detailed explanations). The room is also beautiful and well equipped. I left wanting to stay longer :-)

Staff service was over any expectations, they informed me about the transport situation before I got there and helped me arranging my trip back. The tea in the rooms comes from their fields and is so good. The facility has an old history and is well maintained and beautiful, no need to even mention the onsen inside.. Everything was perfect! Service was perfect, everyone was super polite and really made us feel taken care of. The meals were elaborate and delicious. The onsen in the room was magnificent, what a peaceful experience. I 100% recommend this Ryokan for a special onsen experience.
