This is our second time staying in the same apartment. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was convenient with your own laundry unit inside. Compare to the standard Japanese hotel, this is a decent size.
We landed in Haneda airport, we took the airport bus. The bus stop was close by, about a 7 minutes walk. On our departure, there is also a nearby bus stop to Narita.
Many eateries and convenience stores around.

Obviously the location. It's really next to Komagome Station, at JR Yamanote Line, two stations away from skyliner to Narita. The fact that my room was located in Ladies only section with bigger size compare to the standard in Tokyo, showed how thoughtful the staff was when we upgraded our room. The staffs tried their best to accommodate our needs even with limited their English, which is the only drawback of staying here but it's understandable since majority of their guests are still japanese. The price that we paid were included breakfast at Denny's which was still affordable compared to other hotels.

The place itself is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the organization is top notch. Ikebukuro is a good base for Tokyo exploration.

This homestay was such a great value! The room was thoughtfully decorated, the bedding was super comfortable, and there were plenty of fun spots nearby. It was also very convenient to get around. Well, where can I start? A little gem of a hotel! We booked the nicest room we could get for our honeymoon, and we were surprised with all the freebies and facilities offered. We had a real jacuzzi, massage chair, karaoke machine, and netflix in the bedroom. The whole experience was pure luxury. The food we ordered to the room was incredibly inexpensive and delicious!
They do not speak any English but were very patient and happy to use Google Translate.
