Beautiful room, wonderful food, excellent onsen, kind hosts. The ryokan is extremely well managed and comfortable- the food is great and varied- informal kaseiki with different dishes at every meal. The village is pleasant for a stroll, and very pretty at night. Overall a wonderful unique experience of traditional Japanese hospitality.

The location was really close to Yufuin station , facility was really clean and staff were. Sooooooo nice ,sweat!!!!!

The staff who came out to meet us and carried our luggage as soon as we parked in the parking lot, and those who helped with our luggage when we left and saw us off until we left the parking lot, were all very kind. The room was spotless and nice. The private open-air bath attached to my room provided a fantastic solo hot spring experience, and the quality of the spring water was so good that it made my skin silky smooth. The good part was that the our room is a separate building, good quality in food, and onsen. The place is clean and nice, with full of Japanese onsen vibe. What I really like was the pace of food they prepare and serve. Never rush, or late, just good in a timely manner. And of course friendly staff.
