Drexel House was very welcoming and its location in Karen is great - an oasis of calm in a busy city. As soon as you enter the gates, the noise of the city seems far away, and you feel relaxed and peaceful. The gardens are wonderful and we enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast. The breakfast options were great, and the team was very helpful in preparing snacks for us when we arrived late at night. Jeremy is super helpful, proactive and friendly, and made our stay very comfortable. We left a personal item behind in our room, and he was very solicitous in helping us retrieve it. We will definitely come back when we are next in Nairobi.

How i found more than a home and all, just felt like i own the place the facilities great,the host was always available helped me alot and was soo understanding and one thing about this place is the kitchen and how you are unlimited to cook if you love it overall it was the best thanks rachel.

What a special haven in a big city like Nairobi. You walk through the gates and it is like a different world. If you want a safe, lovely location with great value for money, and lovely friendly owners and staff then book here. The garden is amazing with all organic farming practices and the fresh food is delicious. There are even rabbits, goats, cats and other animals around. The rabbits and cats are always available for petting! We stayed in the deluxe apartment and it was so much more than we could have expected. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff made it a fabulous stay. I would not hesitate to recommend KLP for an authentic, comfortable stay in Nairobi.

We loved the quiet oasis & calm sanctuary this provided for our first couple of nights in Nairobi. The bird life in the gardens is incredible. The staff were amazing & we were so happy to see the gates open for us when we arrived very late after a long flight. No fuss; just a welcome & straight to bed.

Bernard and Jane are absolutely amazing. The level of commitment to making our stay exceptional and the genuine interest in our well-being is indescribable. Combining this with their excellent location, right next to an elephant orphanage, giraffe center, national park and the Karen Blixen museum, it makes the best option for wtay in Nairobi. We have stayed here twice and both the rooms and the cottages are worth recommending. We will definitely come back here!
