I really enjoyed my stay at Hago Guest House: not only was the accommodation really good, but (most importantly) the owner was also extremely friendly and more than willing to help. I especially liked the breakfast part of the day, due to both the delicious toasts made by the host and the thoroughly enjoyable conversations I had with her every morning. I will definitely not fail to book a room at Hago Guest House should I go to Tongyeong again in the future!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, truly amazing. Location is right next to the ferry terminal so perfect for day trips to the islands and walking distance to the main harbour. The room was very comfortable and modern. Breakfast was basic but appreciated and laundry was included. Loved it!

I usually don’t leave long reviews but I had to this time. TRUST ME- book this guesthouse. Aside from it being stunning, the owners are the most genuine, caring, kind elderly couple I’ve ever met. I wanted to go to a specific island for a hike and asked for advice from Mr. Kim. He suggested to travel with him on the very next day to another island which was incredible! When I had a wound on my feet they treated me like I’m their child. I felt so cared for and safe. I won’t ever shut up about this amazing experience and I want to come back for sure. Please treat them with the utmost respect if you choose to stay at their home! There’s a 5gcs store nearby, ferry terminal and bus station.

It was very clean and the owner was nice enough to allocate me to a private room with an ensuite toilet! Location was also very convenient and accessible, it's very central and it was a short walk to all the attractions / sights!

The location is super great- with the sea view , the leisure travel was a great experience. They even have smart TV - you can use YouTube and Netflix and even Disney channels if you do have account! The convenience store next to reception is super great and has various products and food and drinks! Easy to call for taxi or Uber.
