Peaceful and beautiful hotel in a busy city. The gardens are extensive and absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are well designed, with comfy beds and pillows. The bar and dining areas are nice and the food is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The city centre is only a cheap taxi ride away if you can bear to leave.

I forgot my wedding ring in the bedside table. When I realized it I called them and they quickly sent someone to check and found the ring. For me this was invaluable and demonstrated their honesty and professionalism. There was no table in my room so they offered me the blue dinning room for me to work

Breakfast was fantastic. The room was just as expected. The location was walking distance to everything including the train station. The staff was incredible! The guy who checked us in gave us tea and cookies and explained where all the interesting places were on the map and told us how to get there from the Riad. It felt like he was welcoming us into his house. He even recommended a restaurant.

Dar Yanis is just a 5-minute walk from Rabat’s medina and the beach. It offers a shared lounge with a flat-screen TV and a library, as well as free mint tea and Moroccan pastries upon arrival.

11/10 if I could. We've traveled around Morocco for the past ten days and this place was by far our favourite. Even compared to places in the middle of nowhere, this one is nicer. And it's leaps and bounds nicer than places we stayed in other cities. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful/comfortable room, fantastic location. The room pictures don't do it justice, it was perfect. One more thing, the bathroom was exceptional!
