I'm sorry I don't remember the girls' names, but the staff was wonderful and caring, provided a lot of information. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with many small interesting interior details. The beds are very comfortable. Guests are free to use the large kitchen for their own needs. There is a parking space. The breakfast is presented tastefully, quite filling.

Worth every penny (I loved the decorations in the garden and the room in the bathroom, next to the wall - phenomenal idea to put the plants between the window and the wall!!!! Love it!!)

Great stay at Casa Akbal! Nice hosts, having lots of tips of what to see and how to get there. They also greatly helped me out when I nearly missed my tour. Wifi works good, airco works good, which is a must with 30+ celsius. The location is close to the centre and relatively close to paseo montejo. From merida you can take buses (or guided tours) to progreso, chichen itza and - if you are adventurous - uxmal.

The hotel location was amazing and the room was decorated nicely and was clean. The bathroom was also nice with a large shower. The host was very welcoming and pleasant. He greeted us with a fresh beverage upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. The parking was down the street and around the corner so not very convenient with luggage but it was free and felt safe.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast with very large rooms. The breakfasts were really good and healthy. The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. Location was walkable to many restaurants and sights.
