Massive space. Large bed (singles pushed together, but there was so much space). Plenty of mirrors. Great bathroom (except needs a better water drainage system, we made a few pools). Location is great for access to Utrecht, train station, shops, food. And you’re only half an hour train to Amsterdam - costs about €18.50.

Very authentic experience to stay in the remodelled old warehouse cellar, just beneath the center of Utrecht. Literally you stay on the canal shore, and the canal is just 3 meter away from the door.
Bringing out the chairs and cafe table from the room, and just enjoying the lively canal traffic, you can sit and wave to the various canal cruises, canoes and smaller boats, slowly passing, makes you feel like a true local :-) TIP: Remember to buy a bottle(s) of wine and some snacks, and you are all set.
Location wise, It doesn't get any more central than this. Get up the stairs and you are in the middle of Utrecht, offering great beer bars, Michelling rate restaurant, Art galleries, boutique coffee houses.
(However, a note about the stairs leading to room. They are quite steep and small. Not recommended for elderly or walking disability.)

Beautifully decorated en-suite room with access to kitchen facilities. Lovely toiletry products provided. Option to have breakfast provided or you can use the fridge, crockery etc and prepare your own. Lydia is a great host. The location is excellent for countryside cycling and also taking the bus into the vibrant city of Utrecht.

The room was really cool! Nice big room with big bed and lovely bathroom with a bath and shower and plenty of room in it. The location is brilliant! It's about 15 minutes walk from the centre but is in its own little area with lots of bars and restaurants and is very close to the canal. I loved walking in and out of the main city as the walk is along a canal in a very pleasant part of the town.
