Beautifully appointed room. Loved the bath robes. Lovely home. Close to shopping strip for coffee and restaurants. Easy walk into town. Would definitely revisit if I returned to Christchurch.

Sherbourne Motor Lodge is just a 15-minute walk from the Town Hall and a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Christchurch.

Property is very new (less than a year old) and immaculately clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. It has a washer cum dryer and a drying rack in the garden which was useful to our family. I would like to highlight that the property is not located within walking distance to the city centre, hence less accessible to those without a car. The two bedrooms are located on the second floor so it may be less friendly to those who cannot manage the stairs.

Nice and quite, not on a main road and get all the car noise. Lots of room for the family to move around unlike a motel.

We booked this place at the eleventh hour after our initial booking did not meet expectations. Despite the late hour, the hosts were responsive and welcoming, and communication was quick and easy. The house was extremely clean, the facilities looked brand new, and it was spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and there were even additional amenities. The location was close enough to the city centre (about a 10 minute drive).

Awesome house with every bell and whistle you could possibly need. In a great, quiet location within walking distance of the Merivale shops. The home owners were very responsive with communication, the house was spotlessly clean, we will definitely stay here again.
