I really like the location (up from the noisy district but still quite close to everything). Very well equipped common kitchen including coffee machine - very useful and motivated me to cook. Nice common areas & terraces. Special appreciation for the most welcoming host Paulo, who makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

We rented two apartments for a mixed group of family and friends, including two children. The apartments were superb: spacious, incredibly well-equipped and really well located close to the old town with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The pool was lovely, really clean and very private.

The place was very clean and had some good facilities. Nice sit out areas across the property. The property is very close to the beach. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast presentation was outstanding. The staff even packed us a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early for the airport.

Maria's Guest House was a beautiful building right in the centre of the Old Town. My room on the first floor was recently refurbished with a brand new spacious bathroom. The beach is a short stroll away and there are loads of lovely cafes and restaurants within seconds walk. Maria herself was the most wonderful host, we spent some time chatting before I left and it was so lovely.

We really liked everything about the apartment and its location. Since we visited during the high season, there was noise from the lively city center every night until around 5 a.m., but with the doors closed it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the tools you need for cooking, which was a big plus.

Haris was an amazing host. He was kind enough to pick us up from the train station and drive us to the apartment. He took the time to chat with us and shared recommendations on things to do and places to dine upon our arrival. He was also happy discussing life and cultures with us. He brought some delicious figs from his farm for us to enjoy on our journey. We would love to come back and have him host us again!

The rooftop balcony was fantastic! The outdoor eating area was wonderful and cool as it was in the shade. The apartment was steps away from everything, but still quiet at night. Would absolutely stay here again.
