The hotel staff is amazing and made us felt welcome. It is a relatively small hotel, so you don't feel here like just another costumer, but you get to know all the members of the staff. We loved the restaurant - the food and the service were excellent. Also we were pleasently surprised that the hotel services' prices were very reasonable, sometimes even a bargain. The garden is very pleasant, even nicer than in the pictures.

The apartment is actually really great! I loved my stay there. It has everything you need and is just 5 minutes by car or a 15-minute walk from the center. It’s clean, quiet, spacious, and lovely. I highly recommend it!

Amazing location, right in the centre. Very spacious apartment. Easy walking distance to all the landmarks. Our flight was delayed by 24 hours due to the windy weather but the hosts kindly offered us a refund of one night which we appreciated.

Location was excellent. The villa had everything required and was clean and very comfortable. The gardens were lovely and very secluded considering the city centre location.

Lots of lovely different alcolves to sit in - the view of Funchal from the bedroom balcony was especially amazing. We also loved having breakfast at the outdoor table. Fab location - Quick walk (10-15 mins) into Funchal. Taxi into / out of Funchal 1 way would be about 6 euros. Kitchen amazingly well equipped - we love to cook on holiday and it was great having the kicthen island to socialise around.
