I think this might be the best hotel in Taipei! Seriously- we loved it! The room was BEAUTIFUL, extremely clean, quiet with all the necessary facilities. A huge bonus was the a availability of a washing machine and dryer (all backpackers around the world will understand ☺️). The staff was super nice and helpful. And there are two adorable cats in the property ❤️

I have stayed in quite a number of hotels, including 5-star hotels (I have lifetime elite status in a specific chain). The Evergreen Laurel hotel is easily the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. Every hotel I stayed in previously always have something that is not ideal but not this hotel. The beds are comfortable, room is brightly lit (which is a big plus and super rare), a lot of good amenities are provided in the room (increasingly rare in post-covid world), shower water pressure is good, the water temperature is easy to set and remains consistent and the sound-proofing is good - I did not hear any noise from my neighbors (the hotel is full). The location is fantastic as well - I stayed a total of 5 nights and every location I plan to go to is easily reached from the hotel, either by bus or metro. There are two metro stations nearby - Songjiang Nanjing on the green line and Zhongxiao Fuxing on the blue line. Both are within walking distance though the latter is slightly further. There are multiple convenience stores nearby, as well as a Watsons and a Carrefour supermarket. The famous Leechi is right next door. The housekeeping standard is impeccable as well. Oh ya there are also coin-operated washing and drying machines in the hotel.
I will definitely be back again when I return to Taipei!

The location is very convenient, nearby the metro, breakfast was delicious, and laundry was provided in the hotel. The room is clean and the toilet bowl is perfect! The staff was helpful and friendly, we were warmly welcome upon arriving.

The rooms are big, super quite, breakfast was delicious, bathroom was ver comfortable, toilet was also comfortable, really nice luxury hotel with great value for money, i also loved the temperature controlled swimming pool which is also baby friendly (my baby loves to play in swimming pools), also the baby play-room is big and my baby liked it a lot, spent two hours inside and i was super happy to see my baby playing there and seeing his smile and happiness all the time
