Staff were especially of note. Arrived on my birthday and 20 min after check-in, had a chocolate cake/dessert and a nice note brought to my room, which they didn't need to do, but was much appreciated. Everything else in hotel was great.

This is a small family-run hotel, and the family running it lives there themselves during the war. The hotel is located on the ground floor, partly below the street level. That makes it safer during missile attacks. They are the nicest people I've ever met, and you'll feel as you're part of their family. They also run a coffee kiosk where you pay if you're able, otherwise all drinks are free. So expect just that: A family run hotel with all the quirks that comes with that. You will be lovingly taken care of, but don't expect five-star facilities. Also the rates are very modest.

Great host! Big room, good breakfast! Although I don't speak ukrainian and had to use a translator, everything was clear. I admire the fact that after a sleeples night, due to russian airraid on the city, the host brought breakfast to my room, and honestly, after a night like that I wouldn't even expect it and I would understand. I would love to visit in the future if I will have an oportunity. Maybe by that time I will know more words in ukrainian than "Thank you" and "Bye" :) Also there were few snacks and drinks in the fridge (paid for obviously), but a nice convenience after a whole day of walking and being too lazy do go to a shop. Had a drink while enjoying the view from the window.
