I had a positive experience staying at this hotel. It is located 7-10 minutes from both Millennium Park and the Chicago Riverwalk. I especially want to highlight the stunning city view from the room, the pleasant atmosphere, the friendly staff and the clean rooms/bedding.
A nice touch was the small welcome gifts at check-in - a water bottle, a coupon for a complimentary drink at the restaurant, and more, as well as Halloween treats. It was also very convenient that the Atwood restaurant is located on the first floor, where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-organized, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the individual reading lights and power outlets at each bed were a thoughtful touch.
The privacy curtains provided a sense of seclusion without sacrificing the communal vibe of the hostel. The air conditioning kept the room at a perfect temperature, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
The common areas were a highlight as well, with a cozy lounge, a ping pong table, 2 pool tables and a well-equipped kitchen.

The Hotel is bang in the middle of Chicago.The room had a view of the River & because we was on the 18th floor views of all the buildings along the river.
On second floor of the Hotel they have a big room with sofas & you can go anytime to relax & make a coffe all for free
If ever I go back to Chicago I will stay again in the River Hotel
