Feel like we found a hidden gem here. Such a pretty little village of bungalows. Our room was absolutely perfect. All the finishes were quality, from the sheets to the towels to the toilet paper! Our host, Kyle was so welcoming and helpful. It makes a big difference when you are away from home to see a friendly face and receive a warm greeting. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We stayed at the 1227 mansion. We had a late check-in and the instructions were straightforward. The mansion is beautiful - it has a lot of character with high ceilings and grand furniture. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was great. The location is excellent. It's about a 20 minute walk into the French Quarter. There's coffee, fruit and cereal bars provided in the lobby and we spent some time in the evening sitting downstairs, enjoying the ambience. It was a lovely place to stay and I'd happily stay again!

Great location. 20 minutes walk to the French quarter. In a cute.quiet neighborhood. Coffee shop and convenience store close by. Close enough to the action but also far enough that you get a good night's sleep. Check in and check out was straight forward.
