I loved my stay here! The hostel organises events frequently (board games, rooftop BBQ) and this helped to break the ice with other travellers, especially for me travelling solo. It felt like a tight-knit community. Staff are also very nice.

This is my second time staying at CQ, I would recommend it to everyone due to its great location, you can easily walk to the embarcadero and get a bike or simply leisurely walk through the piers.
The room was clean and decently sized, the staff was very friendly and quick to help us with anything.
The area doesn't have a lot of homeless folks but this time there was one person asking for money on the Starbucks next door. All in all, this place offers a great cost-benefit and I'll consider it everytime I'm in SF

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are super new! Bay view is STUNNING! I’m 100% positive that you can’t find a better view in SF. Really nice area with lots of restaurants. Felt so nice being in this hotel. Will definitely stay there again! Deserves 5* truly!
