The hotel has the most beautiful landscaping... It is gorgeous. The manager at the front desk (Thu) was so sweet. She took care of all issues quickly, and even gave us a little gift when we were leaving. There is a free shuttle to the nearest beach. Other hotels and restaurants are not too far. Breakfast was nice. We went snorkeling in the southern part of the island (best part), and it was very close to here.

We had a wonderful stay at Sakurakyo Hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed the complimentary cable car tickets to Hon Thom Island. Great value for money - highly recommended if you want to enjoy sunset views and peaceful surroundings.

Few tips how to enjoy your stay at Sunset town:
Withdraw some cash as soon as you arrive (ATM is available in Hon Thom Departure Terminal), there is not much choice around where to eat for a reasonable price (it’s like 200-300 VND min for a meal for 1 person without drinks). So better have some cash and enjoy everyday food market in the north part of the town that starts at 18:00 (5 min by walk from the Mellon Oasis).
Don’t go to Starbucks for coffee, go to Lotus Cafe & Home, try Sea salt cream latte! One of the best coffee I’ve ever had!

An absolutely amazing and exciting stay! The apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. The balcony offered a breathtaking sea view — and watching fireworks light up the sky every night right from our room was truly unforgettable. The surrounding area was lively, with plenty of delicious local restaurants at reasonable prices. Super convenient and relaxing — I’d definitely come back again!
The price is slightly higher than other places in the area, but it’s totally worth it for the quality and the outstanding service from the host — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
