What a simply wonderful stay. I could not have asked for more. My arrival in Johannesburg was extremely early, but Marcelle had organised for me to check in early and get some rest before the day had even really started. On arrival, Alfred's friendly face and warm hospitality greeted me as I got out of my Uber. From there, I had one of the most enjoyable stays ever. The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped, with lovely touches throughout. South African hospitality already is second to none, but Marcelle and Alfred comfortably go over and above. Having spent so much time in South Africa, Marcelle is a fantastic source of knowledge and she went the extra mile to suggest things for me to do. I spent three days exploring Johannesburg and would come back to a warm welcome each time. I really don't think I could have had a better experience anywhere else.

The Convenience of the place being closer to my places of business, the friendliness of the Host, that the Chalets have over 10 electrical sockets around the room gives so much comfort to work everywhere in the room. The carpeted underfloor heating, the double glazed windows and the wall concealed safes. The Host Bee was such a very nice person, picking me from Park Station, then driving me to look for dinner, then to the Goethe-Institut to write my Deutsch A1 and making sure that my stay was satisfying. She has a lovely Belgian Shepherd named Olga a very friendly dog too. I won't hesitate to refer anyone again and again to stay at 34 Glamorgan Street.

Everything. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Secure parking, central location, despite being in town, you feel like being in a park. Roof terrace and pool are great, breakfast and menus a la card fantastic.

The Westcliffe's staff are a treasure- they are so welcoming, warm/kind/interested- and nothing is too much trouble. The whole property is immaculate, our room was beautiful with a stunning pose of flowers on arrival- plus various delicious snacks and nibbles. The room itself was large, with a large bathroom, with bath and seperate shower and WC. We had a verandah outside, which was perfect for sitting in the morning. The room was very quiet, AC worked well-- and a range of chargers and connectors for electronics/ streaming etc. Pools beautiful and the Best Gym-- huge range of modern gear, towel fridges, fruit and coffee. Nice floor mats and yoga mats. This was really appreciated by me.
