It's a beautiful location; serene, spacious, and fun to explore with the kangaroos and lake and swings in the compound. Very close to the city too. The room and terrace were lovely.

This place is different from anywhere else I have ever been to. A cottage in the woods with no one around for miles, apart from other guests/residents in the other cottages. It was so quiet here, OMG, and at night, we could see the Milky Way (not too many locations on Earth left where you can do that). The nearest town is 20 kms away, for grocery shopping, but also that was really quiet. It was a salve for my frayed nerves after living in a big city. We spent Christmas here, and I prepared a home made meal because the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The porch and interior of the cottage resemble what I imagine the homes of the first settlers to have looked like.

We always upgrade to the menu breakfast. The fruit bowl is amazing. Spend 10 minutes in the garden eating it and you're a better person.

Scarlet Woods exceeded expectations. A wonderful stay with 2 small children. - Fire place - Self contained (huge kitchen) - Amazing, uninterrupted views to die for - Comfy beds - Huge couch - BBQ - Full privacy. We didn't see one other person the entire time - Hot tub which sits under an uninterrupted, star-filled night - Balcony overlooks grass area, which is often filled with sheep, kangaroos and emus. Our stay was absolutely amazing. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. Thank you!

Super easy check in and out. The spa and balcony with a view was amazing! Free wifi a/c and heating Netflix on a decent tv. Also not too close to other people, privacy was great. Walk around and exploring the property was so easy and fun for the family.
