It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. The location was perfect right on the waters edge. The room was huge and had a small balcony which was very nice to sit out on.

Fantastic family-run hotel, with a personal touch, very friendly, great location, good facilities, excellent breakfast, and nearby parking. The hotel is owned and run by a couple (supported by Melody, a lovely little dog), who truly care about their business and about their clients. They are extremely friendly and helpful, engaged and personal. Thank you for making our stay special! The hotel has an excellent location, just off the promenade. Some of the rooms on the third floor offer stunning lake and mountain  views from the balconies. The rooms are in very good shape, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is fantastic, offering exquisite local bread and meat, as well as fresh fruits (the pineapple was deliciously sweet). Although the hotel is located in the car-free zone of Ascona, it offers private parking within three minute walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival and departure, you can even drive through the pedestrian zone to reach the hotel to load/offload luggage. Contact the hotel for details. Now that we know this hotel, on our next visit to Ascona we will for sure stay here again.
