The apartment was spotlessly clean, with great amenities, lovely decor, and a lovely pool and outside area. The staff team, Maria and Jessica, were really lovely and helpful too and lent us cool packs for the beach and boogie boards for the kids. Although it was a bit more expensive than other places we stayed, it was probably our favourite accomodation in Costa Rica and we loved Playa Carillo as well!

Nice staff. Good food. Great breakfast and cereal alternative for the kids. Owner Arno wasn't there but was reachable still.

Hosts were excellent; felt like being welcomed by family in a new country.
Great welcome and introduction to Costa Rica for our first few days here.
Breakfasts were amazing and plentiful, with fresh fruit and variety. We never left hungry!
Dennis and Karina went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.
Short walk down a hill to an amazing beach, great restaurants and two stores right there.
Pool was great as well.

Alicia and her family members were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.
The rooms were cozy, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the most important - The location was perfect - close to the beach Carrillo and also close to a lot of restaurants.

Everything was absolutely perfect 😍 The location in the middle of the jungle, the tranquility and above all the hospitality of the owners, Honey and her husband welcomed me as if I was a member of their family 🙏

We can just say thank you to Dennis and Karina for their hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have chosen a better place.
Very good breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice, small pool. Owners did assist with every question or need you have. Perfect for us as a family. We, as a family also enjoyed to be in Carrillio and not in Samara. The beach in Carrillio around 3 km long but very few people. Perfect to relax under the long strip with Palm trees.

An ideal place for a family vacation. A very beautiful beach is nearby. What makes this place special are the owners of the place Dennis and Karina, who are very kind and lovely persons. We were taken care of very well, we felt like we were visiting our grandparents. Dennis and Karina are very caring, I think it was the best hospitality ever what we have experienced. Hotel is beautiful, clean and small with nice pool and surroundings. We definitely want to go back there and recommend it to everyone.
