The small village of Megalochori is just a 10 minute walk, there are restaurants, bars and a few trinket shops. If you wish to travel to other resorts and you don’t want to hire a car this place is perfect, the bus stop is a few minutes walk and will take you all over the island for approx €2 each way. Right near the old town, and bakery 3min walk. Easy access to airport and port via taxi (10-15mins). Our host, Vasia, was very friendly and helpful- arranged taxi transport and gave good recommendations for food. Also had cot for baby.
