Special mention to the night porter after 12 at night, I came in late because I had a flight and the man couldn't be more accomodating... car was too low to get into car park and he got me parking in another section that was barriered in, couldn't ask for a nicer man to meet that late at night after flying

Excellent excellent stay! Couldn’t recommend more. We were traveling to Dublin the next day and was the best option in terms of money (Dublin is twice the price for accommodation). We also needed to wash some clothes and it was perfect since they also have a dryer and we had our clothes ready for the next day. Very nice host. It was literally one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t recommend more. Very clean, everything you needed was provided

What a wonderful place! We loved everything: the nature, the place, the people... it's like being inside a film. Paddy and Hanna are wonderful, friendly people, two artists... We spent 2 nights at Abbeyleix and found the room extremely comfortable, staff exceptional and food and beverage reasonably priced and delicious. This Hotel was very close to the entry to the big walk, which we did twice because it was such a beautiful and tranquil walk. Very interesting history in Abbeyleix...we highly recommend the village and the beautiful hotel.
