The accommodation is really beautiful and the host was very nice. It didn’t feel like being traveling but more like being welcomed by family. The rooms are in a traditional style and the futon was super comfy. The only downside was, that the place is located far out of Akita, but if you travel by car or don’t mind of taking the bus and walk through along some fields (f you travel with a backpack) it is definitely worth a stay.

Great hotel right next to the station. Very convenient when travelling via Shinkansen! The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
