The hotel was clean and easy to access off the road with lots of free parking spaces. Check in and check out was pretty painless. The hotel representative was quick to answer messages through booking.com to provide us with check in information. Rooms were utilitarian but well maintained and the bed was comfy! Great views too. Keep in mind this is not a full service place and you do some work yourself, but the prices are goood!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The main thing I want to highlight is how much I liked it overall. The staff were extremely kind and, importantly, they spoke English—which is very helpful, especially in Korea where that can be quite rare. The location was perfect!!! The view was extremely nice for this amount of money. Also, we did not see any staff because of the convenient self check-in, but the staff sent very kind messages and explained very well. The facilities in the room left nothing to wish for, everything you need is there. We had a perfect stay!

The location was amazing! The breakfast was exceptional, but even more so because the host himself made it for each of us every morning. The host was so helpful about giving recommendations, even booked me a haircut at the local hairdresser's. The last day, there was a bigger group of Korean tourists at the hostel and he apologized if the noise was bothering me. Absolutely amazing experience! I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Sokcho!
