Mel was very friendly and welcoming. She had prepared a lovely breakfast with herbs from her garden. We had a lovely chat with Mel, and she gave us some great insight about our trip North. When we had a chat with Mel we got to know that Mel has been spending time renovating the house, she had done a great job. The home looks phenomenal, it is unique and has a very warm vibe. We had a very comfortable stay.

We were able to check in early and the manager was super helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The communal areas were also clean. One of the best places we've stayed in NZ!!

Location, location & location! View from our room (with ensuite) is amazing. Everything is complete to and exceeded our expectations. Host was super friendly. Ordered French toast for brekkie too (superb!!).
